BETTY WILLIAMS TO REPRESENT ABERCONWY

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Betty Williams has been chosen to represent Aberconwy constituency at the next General Election. There was a ballot of all branches and affiliated trade unions, and the choice to select Betty was unanimous!

Betty Williams has been Member of Parliament for the former constituency of Conwy for a decade, so has represented about 70% of the new constituency for all that time. But with boundary changes, for a large number of voters this will be their first opportunity to have a Labour MP.
